TenThousandSteps
‘Research shows that walking 10,000 steps a day will significantly improve your health. Putting one foot in front of the other can build stamina, burn excess calories and give you a healthier heart.’
NHS
But what do 10,000 steps look like? What do they sound like? What do they feel like? Where will they take us?
tenthousandsteps is a durational project that explores these questions through multidisciplinary arts activities – photography, video, sound, performance, gitial installations and texts.
Currently in development phase, the initial focus is on my own research and creative perspective but as the project develops it will draw in the thoughts and work of collaborators and the wider community.
The outcome?
Wherever tenthousandsteps lead us.
